9:00- Arrival in Agra city and visit Taj Mahal
Once you are in Agra, you will be greeted by the tour executive who will provide you with the plan for the day. The Govt approved tour guide will take you for a visit to the monument of love, Taj Mahal. This beautiful white marble monument will leave you amazed with its charm and beauty. The monument is all about love and grandeur. You will be provided all the interesting information about the Taj Mahal by the Govt approved tour guide. Keep your phone in silent mode to avoid distractions as you visit the monument. Taj Mahal is closed for public viewing on Friday.
11:00 A.M- Visit Agra Fort
After you are done seeing the Taj Mahal, you can visit Agra Fort which is a sister monument of Taj. It has a museum that contains several items of the ancient era. This beautiful monument was constructed by Mughal ruler Akbar in 1565. Some other buildings which are located inside the fort are Musanman Burj, Moti Masjid, etc. Shah Jaahn was kept inside Musanman Burj and this is the place where he breathed his last. Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the fort.
12.30 P.M- Lunch Break
After seeing Agra Fort, you will have a lunch break. Enjoy amazingly tasty Mughlai food at any of the popular eating places in Agra. Mughlai has a distinctive aroma and flavor. You will simple fall in love with it. Try delicacies such as kebabs, biryanis, etc.
2:00 PM – Visit Baby Taj
Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah also known as Baby Taj is a popular tourist place in Agra. It is a precursor of the Taj Mahal. It contains the tomb of Mirza Ghiyaz Beg. The place holds a lot of religious value. In case there is time on hand you can buy the Taj Mahal souvenir and take it back home as a memory of this wonderful trip.
3:30 PM – Departure for Delhi
Finally, you will leave return back to the capital in a private A/C taxi. On reaching Delhi, you will either leave for the airport or stay wherever you wish and resume your work the next day. As the travel distance is not long and you will be able to conclude this tour in just a single day.
